I didn’t grow up a watch guy. My dad didn’t wear a watch, my older brothers didn’t wear watches, and neither did I. A few years after graduating from university, I moved to New York City to work in advertising and found myself surrounded by businessmen and their impressive timepieces. I wanted to fit in, so I bought a cheap watch and then a few more, learning a bit each time. A couple of years into my new obsession, I landed a job at the online publication Watchonista as a writer and marketer. “Welcome to the watch world,” my colleagues told me half-jokingly, “no one ever leaves!” Now at Chrono24, I work as a private client advisor, helping people find the perfect watch for major life moments. I’ve even gotten the opportunity to help develop our YouTube channel and contribute to the Chrono24 Magazine. And no, I’m not leaving anytime soon…
